OKZoomer is a matching service, created by Gen Z for Gen Z, that connects college students to new friends
or potential partners.
What if I just want to make new friends?
You can do that, too! Just select “friend” when setting up your account.
How are matches determined?
Matches are determined by a specially formulated algorithm that uses inputs such as your personality and
preferences to pair you with a suitable person.
What if I’m not cisgender, or I’m not seeking a heteronormative relationship?
OKZoomer enthusiastically welcomes everyone of all genders and sexual orientations. You can choose your
preferences for matches when setting up your account.
What about the mobile app?
We're still in beta testing, sign up to be let in here !
Do I need to be a college student?
Yes. At the moment, OKZoomer is exclusively for those with a college (.edu) email account, but we hope to
expand the community soon.
What if my school isn’t listed?
Please email us at [email protected], and we will add your school. In the meantime, please select “other.”
How do I edit my account?
Click on “Edit Profile” in the top left of the blue banner on our website.
How do I contact my match?
At the moment, the best way is to send an email to their address. Thanks to your great ideas and feedback,
however, we are developing new messaging capabilities, coming soon!
How can I report harassment?
We want our service to be welcoming and fun for everyone, and we take all reports of harassment very
seriously. If someone has violated our community guidelines, please you can report them by clicking the
flame on their profile card or by emailing us at [email protected], and we will take all measures
necessary to block that person from our service.
How do I unsubscribe?
Click on “Edit Profile” in the top left of the blue banner on our website. Then click on “More.” We’re sorry
to see you go!
